Seagrass

The Bailiwick Eelgrass Exploration Project BEEP seeks to develop Eelgrass conservation strategies across our islands.

The projects uses the power of citizen's science to record and monitor eelgrass beds across the Bailiwick.

The data collected helps inform conservation initiatives, such as the instillation of advanced moorings systems (AMS) in bays where this crucial habitat is found. Helping to reduce the destructive

human impact on the beds and raise awareness for this crucial habitat.
